Currently the Hindi super hit Kaahani which starred Vidya Balan is officially being remade in Tamil and Telugu by Viacom18 Motion Pictures. Popular Tollywood Director Sekhar Kammula is directing both the versions. Nayanthara is playing the lead role in both the versions as well.
The trailer of the Telugu version Anamika was launched recently. The trailer of the Tamil version - Nee Enge En Anbe trailer was launched in Chennai. Director Sekhar Kammula, music director Maragatha Mani and actor Vaibhav were present.
After the trailer launch, all the three met the press. Director Sekhar Kammula says he has retained the essence of Kahaani and made some changes like Nayanthara is not shown pregnant as it was in the case of Vidya Balan and she plays a Tamil woman who is searching for her husband in Old City Hyderabad.
Following the trailer launch, the audio will be launched in the next few weeks and the movie will have a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu.
